    The Veterinary Officer reported that on examination after the race he found that ONLY DREAMS (IRE), trained by N.M. Lampard, which was unplaced, HAD LOST A RIGHT FORE SHOE.

    S. Thomas, the rider of INVISIBLE MAN (FR), which was unplaced, reported that the gelding WAS NEVER TRAVELLING. The Stewards ordered the gelding to be routine tested.

    Alan O’Keeffe, the rider of PRINCESS RAINBOW (FR), reported that the mare hung left throughout and had no more to give.

    R. Hollinshead, the Trainer of STASH, reported that the gelding finished distressed.

    Chris Catlin, the rider of ALMATY EXPRESS, reported that the gelding was hampered at the start.

    Chris Catlin, the rider of IMPERIAL HOUSE, reported that the colt jumped awkwardly away and was never travelling thereafter.

    Robert Winston, the rider of LASTROAROFDTIGER (USA), reported that the gelding lost its action.

    Richard Evans, the rider of BESTOWED, reported that the gelding was never travelling.

    Robert Winston, the rider of ALF TUPPER, reported that the gelding hung left in the home straight.

    Robert Winston, the rider of HILBRE POINT (USA) reported that the gelding moved poorly throughout.

    The Veterinary Officer reported that KING OF CONNACHT, trained by M Wellings, which was placed third, reported that upon examination after the race the gelding was found to have been struck into on its left hind and was lame.

    The Stewards considered the running of GREY COMMAND (USA), ridden by Robert Winston and trained by M. Brittain, who started favourite and finished unplaced and having received a report from the rider that the horse tired quickly in the home straight and may have been feeling the effects of its previous race, only three days earlier, they decided not to hold an enquiry. The Trainer’s representative later reported that the horse had lost its right-fore shoe. The Stewards ordered GREY COMMAND (USA) to be routine tested.
